Long form yoga practices EVERY month. Alternate, Sunday afternoon practices 1-4.30pm and Sunday chakra themed day retreats 10am-5pm.
During the yoga day retreats we will explore themes and practices related to the seven chakras. By working with the chakras we are working with the subtle energies of the body, starting with the more gross and dense energies at the root and getting more and more subtle as we progress.
“The chakra system provides both a ladder for liberation and a map
for manifestation. It is simultaneously a template for transformation and a profound formula for wholeness.” Chakra Yoga - Anodea Judith.
These retreats days are NOT for experienced practitioners only. They are accessible and available for everyone, no matter your skill/experience of Yoga.

Many of you know that my family and I are going through an extremely difficult time at the moment. So I have made the decision to postpone the June day retreat till after the summer, I assure you it will happen (and will hopefully be worth the wait!)
Instead, on the 30th of June I will be doing an afternoon special for charity. The Bristol Haematology and oncology centre have been incredible at taking care of my dad during this difficult time. I am extremely grateful for thier dedication so I wanted to do my bit to raise some money for the friends of BHOC. Your support will be very much appreciate. Raise money for a great cause and have an extremely relaxing afternoon of restorative yoga practices. As well as a chance to win a 1h massage gift card worth £55!

There are many good reasons to introduce inversions to your yoga practice: they help build strength and confidence, they boost mood, and reduce anxiety & stress. Many inversion poses require significant core and upper body strength to hold yourself up. Regularly practicing inversions can help strengthen these muscles, which can improve your overall balance and stability, not just on the yoga mat but also in everyday activities.
Stress Reduction and Mental Well-being: The act of inverting can be calming and promote relaxation. Inversions may help to trigger the release of endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects, and can also help to reduce stress and anxiety. Inversions have the affect of increasing oxygen delivery to your brain, which can leave you feeling more energized and alert. Inversions can also stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps remove waste products from your body, and can contribute to a feeling of lightness and well-being.
