FAQs

Where can I park?

We have a car park available to anyone doing classes. This is located on the left hand side of the the hill that leads up to the entrance to the park.

Are there bathroom facilities?

Yes, we have 2 toilets.

Can I bring a baby to the lessons?

At the moment we cannot provide any crèche facilities or any like that but we are hoping to be holding mother/baby yoga lessons at some point in the future.

Are your classes suitable for pregnancy?

We aim to make as many of our classes accessible to everyone as we can. Our Beginner friendly and slow flow lessons are probably going to be the most suitable. Have a word with us before you begin the lesson so we are aware of adaptations to provide for you. If you are in the advanced stages of pregnancy we might recommend you attend a prenatal yoga class that is specifically tailored to you, where you can share the experience with other expectant mothers.

I am an absolute beginner. Which class should I attend?

The beginner’s flow would be ideal for you to attend. We will give you a breakdown all the common poses of yoga making it super accessible. We also have beginner friendly lessons, (gentle and rest & restore) that will be designed with complete beginners in mind and will offer plenty of variations and adaptations.

I have an existing injury/underlying condition that might affect my practice. Should I attend your lessons?

Be sure to check with your G.P. Or healthcare professional to make sure that the practice is suitable for you. If you are recovering from surgery make sure that it is recommended for you and your stage of recovery. If you are given the go ahead, let us know at the beginning of the lesson and we will be more able to provide suitable variations and adaptations for you.

Do I need to bring my own mat/props?

We do have a supply mats, blocks and bolsters for our students to use.

What shall I wear to class?

Please wear comfortable clothing, that allows for plenty of stretching and movement. This could be baggy, loose fitting clothing if this is most comfortable for you, or stretchy yoga leggings/sports wear. Ensure that is not revealing as this can be distracting for other students. It is also a good idea to bring a jumper as we cool down towards the end of class and it can help relaxation, maybe even a blanket can be nice for the relaxation portion of the class.

I am not very flexible. Can I still attend your Yoga lessons?

Absolutely! Flexibility is not a prerequisite for practising Yoga. It is our aim to make yoga as accessible as possible for as many different people as possible. We will provide many different adaptations and variations to help ease you in to poses, and help you gently and carefully develop your flexibility. You will be amazed at your progress!

Should I eat before I come to practice?

We highly recommend coming to practice on an empty stomach, however a light snack of some fruit and nuts or something similar can be appropriate if necessary.

What I am no longer able to make a class?

Please withdraw from the class via the app or website as soon as you know you are not able to make it, if you need help with this please visit www.satmyayogamassage.com/withdraw-your-place.

What is your refund policy?

If you withdraw from the class via the app or website you will get a full refund providing that there is 12 hours notice given. Cancellations less than 12 hours before the class will not get a refund.

What happens if the class is full?

You will be able to enter the waitlist if the class is full. If a space opens up, you will be notifed via email.

Classfit will notify the first person on the waitlist about the space first. If they decline, or two hours pass we will then invite the second person on the waitlist, and so on. The only time this changes is if the class is within 24 hours. Please check whether you have signed up for the class or for the waitlist. There have been occasions when too many people have turned up for the class thinking they have a space when they are actually only on the waitlist.
